SLATE

Timecode Slate with audio clap or beep what i miss is the wide mode but lovly done when ever you need it in the Studio or just as a gag to mark your tapes at the beginning .Even when you whant to mach mutliple video cameras on sync it helps .The only pat i missing is that the slate only run in real time so the clock is displayed on the slat some Timecode setup posibility would be great .As this app is quite on budget i can recommend this Will use it definitly and the sound guy will love you for it

As the name it takes Timelaps Photos of what ever you like interesting for any making of setup the set or camera-gear  could be as nice for your social share on Facebook or youtube as the resolution of the iphone camera is not that high i would see it mostly as a fun gadget nice and handy in relation to a huge photo Camera with that function .

Some Photo Tools are gorgeous for Location hunter too most Set Photo and Location Photos are done with basic snap shot cameras .Why not just use a Iphone Stitch App to show more of the given location in one picture . With others you get the exact aspect ratio 16:9 or any other already a good feeling how the location could get covered in that format

The Sevice is free of charge for a 30 seconds .As this Service and App is developed by filmmakers its highly visual and the used random effects are some you will like . You need a account at

www.animoto.com  they will brand the free videos with there logo and the musican get a auto credit at the end . simple Youtube upload over the platfrom and import from different Web sources .It is not a typical Cameraman tool but as you would have a lot of making of Photos and Set photos this is a nice peace of software to make a sweet movie out of it with no work .

Probably you need a Christmas present for one of your cinematic friends that could be one .the only problem Itunes store still dont have a Present certificate for Apps. This is a Video live Stream App that i discover some time ago it have the feature to live stream directly to the internet no comperssion or conversion needed and there is a Facebook app to that works with it .The first Phone for livestream was the Nokia 95 but now you can run this app on Iphone and even Windows Mobile .Why not stream live from your Film set show your fans and friends what is going on behind the camera .The quality is some how stunning good its not HD but fine as a videopodcast some like behind the sceen story. Most Filmmaker realize the need of integration of social Networks in film promotion this is just a great additional tool to bust and promote your work long before your final edit is out .And did i mention its free …
